1. How accurate are the AI responses in Airo -Data?
A combination of fine-tuned models, RAG, proprietary ranking systems and RLHF is leveraged to reach 98%+ accuracy.
2. How long does it take to get set up Airo - Data?
You can connect your database and start testing airo in just a few minutes. Getting production-ready varies. You can fine-tune a model to your specific use case in a few days.
3. Can Airo - Data handle complex or large databases?
Airo is built for any database (regardless of size, hygiene, complexity, etc). We have customers that have trained Airo on 600+ tables and they get production-ready results. As a general rule: the larger the database, the longer it will take to get production-ready. The more nuanced & messy the database, the longer it will take to get production-ready.
4. Will Airo - Data store any of my customer data?
By default, we never store any data. You have complete control over data that is stored. Nor is your data ever fed through an LLM. Airo uses only your metadata as input.
5. What can Airo - Data integrate with?
Airo connects to all major databases and data warehouses. These include Snowflake, Redshift, MySQL, SQLServer, MariaDB, Postgres, Supabase, Databricks, and BigQuery.
6. Does Airo - Data write optimized queries?
Airo will write queries according to however you train it. You can train Airo to do things like reference indexes, set limits, etc. Training is extremely flexible and gives you complete control over the model.
7. What does Airo - Doc do?
Airo - Doc helps you talk to documents in natural language and pulls the relevant answers from the document.
8. Can I ask questions to multiple documents at once?
Yes, you can ask questions to multiple documents at once using Airo-Doc.
9. Can I match existing documents to find a fit in my data?
Yes, you can match data from the documents to relevant data sitting in your database.
10. What does Airo - Web do?
Airo - Web gets fast, up-to-date, and reliable answers to complex questions without needing to click on different links, compare answers or endlessly search the web for information.
11. Can I use Airo - Web to ask questions to my internal database?
Unfortunately, you can't. Airo - Web is designed to search the Internet for you in real-time but doesn't have access to any data that is not publicly available. You can use Airo-Doc to query text-based documents such as word, PDFs etc. and Airo – Data to query your database.

Read-only access
Airo connects to your database with read-only access. You have complete control of which tables or columns users can query, ensuring the security of your sensitive data. You can also allowlist our IP addresses or connect via SSH.  
Multi and single tenant access controls
Airo provides granular access controls, allowing you to route users to their specific tenant or define row-level access. Access controls are implemented through a deterministic access control layer to ensure reliability and security.
SOC 2, HIPAA, & GDPR
Security is built into the fabric of our products, team, infrastructure, and processes, so you can rest assured your data is safeguarded. We are actively pursuing SOC 2 certification and GDPR compliance.
Query safety and permissioning
Every query generated by Airo undergoes rigorous parsing and analysis before execution. This thorough process ensures the safety, security, and reliability of each query.
No data stored, by default
By default, we will never store any of your database data. Though not required, you can choose to store non-PII string values in a vector store. This allows you to maintain complete control over your data while still benefiting from enhanced performance.
Secure credentials storage
All credentials are encrypted and stored in a dedicated secrets manager. Credentials are encrypted at rest and in transit, ensuring they are well-protected.
